FAQs

Many of the foot-lifting solutions available today do only that, lift the foot. While many products available online are inexpensive, they lack several key features which are needed to provide the level of security and stability achieved with the Sstep. For example, they inadequately lift the toes to promote walking with foot drop, they’re not sturdy enough to support the foot/ankle, many of them require the use of footwear to appropriately function and they wear out quickly. The Sstep ensures an intimate fit to your leg, which is reinforced by the activation of the innovative support mechanism. Users experience a level of stability and confidence which they have not experienced from the cheaper alternatives available online.

Many ankle and leg braces for foot drop are bulky and cannot be easily worn under pants. They also have to be worn with shoes so therefore will not provide and support when you come home and have to remove your shoes.  In addition, the bulkiness of these braces requires a certain type of shoes to be worn, limiting your options, especially as it comes to any sort of nice dress shoes. The Sstep functions equally as well with or without shoes and it can be worn with any type of a shoe and is considered more comfortable and more adaptive to the activities of daily life.
